About us.....!
Since
April 2005, the business has been owned and operated by
Robin Findlay and Dean Da Silva from the
United Kingdom. Tropicana/Grand Café was originally
established in 1999 by Marcel De Rijk – Vice President
of the World Dance Association.
Marcel still works with the
current owners, running his weekly dance classes and
events.
Robin Findlay
is a successful entrepreneur and is Chairman/CEO of a
large Group of Companies, some of which include a Model
Agency, a Conference, Incentive and Promotional
Management Company, a Photographic and Film Company, and
a company supplying Indonesian hotel university
graduates to hotels in the United Kingdom.
Dean Da Silva is
Managing Director of several companies within the group
and his years of experience in the hotel industry mean
that he is greatly involved with the hotel graduates and
the restaurant here.
Robin and Dean want to open
the doors of Grand Café and Tropicana event Center and
Gosip Nightspot to everyone and so they are putting together a
program of entertainment and events that everyone can
join in with.
